Geeks identify people with their gadgets, but a rug with a bold, overall design can be the focal point of a room. These rugs are available in different sizes (13×16 10×16 10×13 8×11 6×8 4×6) and in different makes. So go through the wide range of variety at Superiorrugs and buy one.
When people think of a rug, the first thought thatusually comes to mind is that of a rectangular-shaped coveringthat sits upon the middle of your floor. But who says you should onlybe limited to such a square piece of material when many area rugs nowcome in a variety of shapes and sizes? As fun alternatives to the usualrectangular or square-shaped rug, round rugs with detailed edging andhalf-moon or crescent shaped rugs can easily dress up your home.

Well as we no there is NO Gphone, and as expected by us its the open source software platform Android that Google is developing. Leaked shots of an early prototype of the Google Android powered device (now referred as Gphone) have made its way to the internet. The looks of this Android-Gphone is quite similar to Windows Mobile devices developed by HTC. It is believed that the Gphone’s are in final stages of design and development and the Android platform will hit the markets some time in 2008. According to the anonymous tipster, the OS (and device) - in its early form - light and fast - much faster than the desktop emulator at times. And as a longtime programmer, he thinks it’s a lot more put together than Window Mobile 5 on the back side of things.
As you can see in the demo video below the Android platform has some exciting and powerful features like 3G, 3D Graphics support, Maps, Touch features like the iPhone etc. As Android is just a software platform for Mobile Devices just like Windows Mobile, multiple handset manufacturers would be able to utilize the same to develop handhelds. Being a open source venture there is lot more potential for Android and the final version in hand might well be a surprise. However check out the official Google video on Android (demonstrating the features):
Leaked / Spy shot of a SE phone (rumored to be P5i)
So is this the next edition of the Sony Ericsson P-series? Although the pic is not very clear and it might well be a fake, many are sure that this is indeed the SE P5i. The interface is said to be similar to the Nokia Touch concept and the iPhone. It is believed to be running on Symbian 9.1 OS.
The rumored specs are:
Slider Phone with 2.8-inch screen (with Touch?)
GPS, Wi-Fi
5-Megapixel Camera
520Mhz / 360Mhz Processor
HSDPA and HSUPA connectivity
160MB of internal storage
Memory Stick Micro and MicroSDslot
Update: New Picture - P5i still a rumor
Update: Although we haven’t seen the P5i (or SE P5) some latest pics suggest similarity to the Xperia X1. So it this Symbian 9.3 powered Apple iPhone killer phone Xperia X1 instead of the P5i as expected??
Touch technology has been the trend setter in mobile technology this year. Now we hear, Vista successor Windows 7 is said to have integrated touch features. A Microsoft engineer said “if you are impressed by the ‘touch features’ in the iPhone, you’ll be blown away by what’s coming in Windows 7″. It is believed that the features will be similar to the Microsoft Milan Table PC concept.
Earlier this year DELL launched Latitude XT tablet which has a multi-touch support but the requisite drivers are still to be released for the same. Late in the lifecycle of Windows XP, Microsoft added its Origami “touch pack,” designed to pave the way for ultrasmall PCs that can be controlled with a finger.

Improving user experience is eBay’s priority in 2008. In the past one year eBay has made several improvements to its system like the new homepage design, faster search, detailed seller feedback etc. However the focus now is shifting towards improving the overall experience for millions of its users worldwide.
So how many times have you seen a product on eBay with a shipping tag more than the products price? It has been a very common technique by eBay sellers to start of ‘auctions / fixed price listings’ at a low cost and then over charge the buyers under other heads such as shipping, taxes, insurance etc. eBay has been collecting detailed seller ratings from its buyers since a year now. They now plan to use these statistics to improve the buyer experience on the site. The company may use the data in more palpable ways in 2008, such asincorporating shipping fee complaints into search algorithms; sellerswith high shipping fees may not appear in the first page of searchresults. It also may include factors such as whether shipping wasprompt or the seller responds to questions.
“EBay needs to evolve the user experience to be more competitive and differentiated,” John Donahoe said in the company’s San Jose, Calif., headquarters. “We could start basing our search results or other policies on user feedback, or at least give the buyer a warning.”
The idea is to have a cleaning mechanism to the sliding display such that, every the the slider is moved the screen is wiped clean.
When the phone is open, the slider rests at the top of the screen. Then, during the closing process of your flip-phone, the slider moves to the bottom of the display, wiping it clean. And then wipes it once more when you are opening the phone again. The same process works beautifully with a slider phone form factors to. When you slide open/closed the keyboard, cleaning slider moves through the display wiping it clean. Simple, elegant, very useful and easily implemented.
