3G iPhone with GPS coming early 2008?

Fresh rumors point towards a 3G & GPS enabled iPhone to be announced (or possibly released) early next year.
The indications
- Apparently Apple is sourcing supplies for the new range of iPhone’s already
- Steve Jobs comments on 3G phones while announcing iPhone in UK
Apparently Steve Jobs (Apple CEO) said “[3G] chipsets work well apart from power. They’re real power hogs.Most phones now have battery lives of 2 to 3 hours and that’s due tothese very power-hungry 3G chipsets, … We’ve got to see the battery lives for 3G get back up into the 5+ hour range. Hopefully we’ll see that late next year.”
