Apple offers $100 Refund to all iPhone owners

September 6th, 2007 by Annkur

Now this is a real fine gesture (business) from Steve Jobs. Apple has offered a $100 store credit to all iPhone owners who have were miffed at the 33% price cut announced yesterday.

Apparently iPhone owners who were obviously not amused by the 200$ price drop within just two months of launch sent out 100’s (hundreds) of emails to Apple which resulted in this action.
“We have decided to offer every iPhone customer who purchased an iPhonefrom either Apple or AT&T, and who is not receiving a rebate or anyother consideration, a $100 store credit towards the purchase of anyproduct at an Apple Retail Store or the Apple Online Store.”

“… even though we are making the right decisionto lower the price of iPhone, and even though the technology road isbumpy, we need to do a better job taking care of our early iPhonecustomers as we aggressively go after new ones with a lower price. Details arestill being worked out and will be posted on Apple’s website next week.Stay tuned.”" – From Apple.com
