Apple sells you hype, Overrated Brand!

Apple has been rated amongst the 10 most overrated brands by Lucas Conley. And the reason is something that we all know. They sell you great HYPE! May it be the iPhone, iPod or the MacBook Air. Others amongs the list are MTV and Victoria’s Secret. (But frankly we know its Great products + Great Hype that works for Apple)!
Apple has made an art of packaging existing technologies. But in an age when no-name companies make phones of equal quality at a fraction of the price of an iPhone, how long can Apple keep sales and its cool factor up? Only as long as it can sustain the hype. And with the Google phone on the horizon, it’s going to take a lot of hype.

Apple products may be hyped but they innovate and others then follow. Also apple’s quality is unparalled. Can you compare HTC’s hardware / build quality to apples. How many have have rebooted iphone due to software crash compared to windows or even nokia’s symbian.
