ASUS has announced the launch of its new O!Play MINI compact media player in India. The player claims to feature one of the most powerful decoders in the industry with support for most media formats. The player tips thescales at just 175g making it quite portable. It packs in a 4-in-1 card reader and provides HDMI connectivity as well. It supports full HD videos (1080p) and 7.1-channel audio, and for activities like photo viewing.
It also adds in a feature called ASUS RightTxT, an intelligent subtitling feature in movies and other video content. RighTxT subtitle detection offers support for a wide variety of languages, and works automatically in real time as media plays to deliver accurate captions on-screen so that users don’t need to select subtitles manually. This feature is exclusive to the ASUS O!Play range of media players.
The inbuilt memory card reader supports SD, MMC, MS and xD formats. Users can display photos from almost any source on the big screen in native high definition using the media player. The O!Play media player also gets USB connectivity.
The O!Play MINI has been priced at Rs. 3500 in India.
