BlackBerry Bold Touch Appears On RIM Website; Runs OS 7

I still do not know why these phone makers tinker around with their websites with unannounced products. There has been more than one instance of gadget makers accidentally revealing their upcoming, unannounced devices on their websites – but they never seem to learn. In the latest instance of such a thing happening, RIM has inadvertently leaked their upcoming BlackBerry Bold Touch on their website when the phone appeared briefly on the main page of the BlackBerry homepage.

It is pertinent to note that this slip up has happened just days before the BlackBerry World Conference where the phone was supposed to be revealed – so there is already talk about this being a controlled leak of sorts. What’s so special about this phone? Well it’s a Bold and it has a touchscreen! Now, isn’t that awesome?

Anyway, now that it has been leaked let us also inform you that the phone as speculated will run BlackBerry 7 which if we may add, is the new name for BlackBerry OS 6.1. More details however are yet to arrive, But I guess this should satisfy the BlackBerry freak in you for now!
