BlackBerry’s latest, the Torch 9800 slider is rumored to be coming to AT&T on August 15th and would be released in the UK by Vodafone somewhere in September/October. Some of the leaked videos of this phone’s boot-up screen have confirmed that the device would come to AT&T (the Vodafone UK launch is stilremains a rumor). The form factor was last seen on the Palm Pre which hans’t really done too well, but the bigger keyboard and Blackberry backing should help here.
The 9800 also features the new BlackBerry 6 OS, RIM’s most multimedia focused OS so far. Other features of the BlackBerry 9800 are a full touchscreen along with a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. It also features the new WebKit browser supporting multi-tab browsing and pinch-to-zoom. Check out the video of device’s boot-up screen after the jump.
