You should also look at PasteBot. This allows realtime syncing of Clipboard with your Mac using Wifi or Bluetooth. Quite Cool

When I first saw iBluetooth, it was slow and sluggish. This is an official app. Hence better IMO

iBluetooth for jailbroken iphones works extremely well. Images can be sent . Other files can be accessed through the file system viewer and then sent over bluetooth. The app is compatible with the 3.0 firmware version.

My main need is to be able to transfer via Bluetooth to 'photo processing machines in supermarkets & the like. They all accept USB memory stick connections, but of course, that doesn't work either with the iPhone.

It's outrageous that Apple does not provide a Bluetooth file transfer option as part of the basic iPhone functionality. The closed approach they are exhibiting lately is not something to be proud of. Bluetooth is a fundamental feature of even the most basic mobile phone, and there are no technical reasons why the iPhone should not/could not have it as well. This app is a much needed addition, but even to have it limited to only communicate with other iPhones/iPod Touches is absolutely ludicrous. Why should I not be able to transfer a photo from my phone to my computer? I don't want to have to reach for a connecting cable every time I want to do this. My last two phones - a NokiaN95 and a Sony Ericsson k610i - both talked to ANY other Bluetooth device without a problem. To have this fancy iPhone and be getting less functionality from it is quite galling.
Not happy Apple!
