The most popular VoIP and multiple IM client, Fring, has released an update of its Android application. The new version comes with a more friendly buddy list, personalized profile, a dialer screen, voice improvements and links support in the chat screen. The updated buddy list now makes the contacts more accessible. The buddy list shows your friends’ picture along with the mood line. A tap on one of the contacts takes you to the dialer screen which again shows the mood line and picture.
The personalized profile updater allows users to upload a picture, edit mood line and update email address and phone number with a single click. The dialer screen supports DTMF to allow users dial in numbers during a call. Other changes are voice improvements and links support during chat, and they have also fixed a few bugs of the previous version.
Fring is a free application and can be downloaded from Android Market.
