On Sunday, Gionee had unveiled 6 new smartphones with full screen design. Including the already released Gionee M7 and M7 Power smartphones, the Chinese firm has launched eight phones with FullView displays that support 18:9 aspect ratio this year.
Rear-mounted fingerprint reader, Android 7.1 Nougat customized with Amigo OS 5.0, and hybrid dual SIM slot with support for microSD card are some of the common features that are available on the Gionee M7 Plus, M7 Mini (Steel 3), S11 Lite, S11, S11S and F205. Here are the specifications, features and pricing of each of these phones.
Gionee M7 Plus
The Gionee M7 Plus is a flagship phone that comes with a huge FullView AMOLED display of 6.43 inches that supports FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The Snapdragon 660 chipset powers the Gionee phablet with 6 GB of RAM. It includes a native storage of 128 GB. It has a massive battery of 5,000mAh battery. The huge battery not only supports fast charging but also 10W wireless charging.
The back panel features a 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual camera system that is coupled with dual-tone LED flash. It has a selfie camera of 8-megapixel. The rear-mounted fingerprint scanner can not only scan the pattern of the fingerprint but also can check blood flow while unlocking the M7 Plus. It features a “dual security encryption chip” that can be used to protect the sensitive data stored on the phone.
The Gionee M7 Plus has a premium appeal as its rear panel is flanked with calfskin leather and 21k gold coated stainless steel frame. It will be available in colors like Gold and Blue starting from January 2018. It will be available with a price tag of 4,399 Yuan (~$666).
Gionee M7 Mini (Steel 3)
The Gionee M7 Mini has a full metallic chassis and it is fitted with a 5.5-inch HD+ FullView display. The Snapdragon 425 SoC that is supported by 3 GB of RAM is present under the hood of M7 Mini. It is packed with a native storage of 32 GB.
Gionee has included an AAC 1511 loudspeaker chip on the phone. It has a rear camera of 8-megapixel and a selfie snapper of 5-megapixel. It houses a big battery of 4,000mAh capacity. The M7 Mini comes in single color variant of Gold.
Gionee S11 Lite (F6)
The Gionee S11 series include S11, S11S and S11 Lite (also known as Gionee F6). The Gionee S11 Lite has a 5.7-inch FullView display that supports HD+ resolution. It includes Snapdragon 430 chipset and comes in 3 GB and 4 GB RAM options. Its native storage is 32 GB and it houses a 2,970mAh battery.
The rear side of the phone features a dual camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. It features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The model arriving as Gionee F6 has an 8-megapixel front camera.
Gionee S11
Equipped with reflective 3D glass on the back panel, the Gionee S11 features a 5.99-inch In-Cell FullView display that produces FHD+ resolution. The 4 GB and 6 GB RAM variants of the phone are powered by the MediaTek Helio P23 chipset. It has an internal storage of 64 GB.
It has a LED flash enabled 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear cameras. The front panel houses a 16-megapixel + 8-megapixel dual selfie cameras. It is powered by 3,410mAh battery and comes in colors like Blue, Gold and Rose Gold.
Gionee S11S
Gionee S11S has 6.01-inch FullView AMOLED screen that offers FHD+ resolution. The MediaTek Helio P30 chipset on the S11S is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM. It has 64 GB of inbuilt storage.
It has a rear-facing dual camera module featuring a 16-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor on the rear of S11S. Its front houses a dual selfie camera system that includes a 20-megapixel sensor and an 8-megapixel sensor. The 3,600mAh battery of S11S is coupled with fast charging feature. It also sports the impressive 3D glass rear like the S11 smartphone and can be bought in colors like Gold and Silver.
Gionee F205
The F205 phone is fitted with a 5.45-inch HD+ FullView display. The MediaTek MT6739 SoC along with 2 GB of RAM powers the smartphone. The internal storage available on the F205 is 16 GB. It is packed with a 2,670mAh battery. For photography, it features an 8-megapixel rear camera and a selfie camera of 5-megapixel. It comes in color choices like Red and Gold.
