Google Discontinues Webaccelerator
January 31st, 2009 by Annkur
Google has officially discontinued its webaccelerator adding to the recent list of discontinued services. Its clear that the BIG G is now reworking its offerings and concentrating hard on popular products i.e. quality instead of quantity. Personally I had given Web Accelerator a try and all I remember is I didn’t keep it for more than a week. Something like google gears is certainly much more promosing and worth investing time into.
Google gears recently went live for Gmail and Google reader is already offering this!
“Google Web Accelerator was a great experiment which provided us with a lot of material for developing future products to serve our users,”
