Google has an iPhone version for Wave!
October 14th, 2009 by Annkur
Our friend Monik form Etiole just uncovered this amazing iPhone version of Google Wave that probably isn’t making any much news yet as most of us are busy yelling out for the invites. However Google does has the wave all customized with an app like feel to run on Mobile Safari. Oh Boy, we sure didn’t expect Google to not get the wave on the iPhone / Android after the long impressive list including Search, Gmail, reader, maps, docs, product search and more! (yes they did demo it on video earlier, but ..)

So how do we go about Waving on the iPhone? Simple, just ignore the LIE that is thrown at you when you hit wave.google.com on your iPod touch or the iPhone. Rest is easy sail, use the + to set a homescreen shortcut if you like, this would launch the Wave in an app version and not safari.

This is not surprising. iPhones are selling like hot cakes. Google can’t afford not to develop their apps for the iPhone.
[...] iPhone / iPod touch and Mac client for Google wave: Waveboard Posted by Piyansh on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, 4:46 Waveboard is already live for Mac desktop but an iPhone version of this Google wave client is yet to go live. This simply takes away the hassel of launching wave via a browser and retains the same layout feel for now. Just like you use say tweetdeck and Gtalk on your dektop, this is Wave Board for Google Wave. I would be interested in seeing how it develops in future versions though. For the moment a video demo of how it would look on the iPhone or iPod touch once live. (of course you have that little hack to get the Google Wave working on iPhone as an App!) [...]
