Google taking inputs on from Netbook users for Android

…more signs of Google being serious about developing Android as a netbook OS and possibly a full blown Operating System for PC’s in future. Apparently Google has posted an AD on Craiglist to invite netbook users for their inputs Android for Netbooks/Laptops.
Do you use a Netbook? If so, we are currently scheduling participants for a netbook-related usability study to take place May 11-16 out of our Mountain View (or San Francisco) office .
If you are interested in participating, please complete the questionnaire linked below. We will then schedule appointments on a first come first served basis.
Ones taking the survey would be binded by a NDA and rewarded with a $75.00 gift cheque

Also leaked today is an image of the Alpha 680 that is said to be an upcoming Android Netbook/Laptop.

I think that’s great news. I guess it’s success will depend on applications compatibility etc. That’s the only area where it’s hard to match Windows. I am talking about simple things like messengers, mail clients etc. Nevertheless, the netbook market is going to heat up pretty soon. Looks like even Palm might launch Netbooks ( Foleo) based on WebOS!
Something to watch out for is Apple’s plans in the Netbook space, will the revolutionize it?
