Guy does what Sony didn’t : Build a PS3 Slim Laptop
October 4th, 2009 by Kunal

How cool would it be if your gaming console featured a screen and you could carry all your hardcore gaming with you? That would translate to true portability with a large screen with lots of gaming
Benjamin J. Heckendorn, the guy known for making cocktails out of gaming consoles and laptops, has done it again. This time it’s the PS3 slim. He has crammed in all the insides of the PS3 slim into a laptop casing with a 17” screen, stereo speakers, built-in power supply and a small compartment for the power cord. The best part: it works! Below is a video showing the PS3 laptop in action.
Now, for those who would like to own such a laptop, we have some bad news. Benjamin doesn’t seem to be taking any custom orders. But if you have a good amount of time and dedication (as well as a good dose of patience), he has put up the exhaustive and complex process of converting your PS3 into a PS3 laptop here.
