Hallelujah! Gameloft too cuts iPad/iPhone game prices for Christmas

Gamers on the iPhone and iPad can seldom have had a better Christmas. After EA reduced the price of several of its titles for the two platforms to 99 cents to celebrate Christmas, its great rival Gameloft has followed suit, albeit on a smaller level. The company has slashed the price of fourteen of its iPhone/iPod touch and seven of its iPad games to 99 cents. Now, that might seem rather small compared to the fifty-odd titles that EA shoved beneath the dollar level to celebrate Christmas, but take our words for it, it is still a mighty good deal. Especially when you consider that the discounted titles include the likes of Hero of Sparta II, Real Football 11, Let’s Golf 2, Assassin’s Creed: Altair’s Chronicles, The Settlers, and NFL 2011. Not bad, eh? As of now, the offer seems to be available only in some countries, but we are hoping that it will spread to more in the coming days. ‘it would be against the spirit of Christmas if it did not!
