Huawei and its sub-brand Honor have already released a couple of full screen smartphones such as Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 Lite, Nova 2s, Honor View V10, Honor 9i and Honor 7X in this year. It seems that they are not done yet as both the firms are respectively planning to launch Huawei Enjoy 7S and Honor 9 Youth Edition in the next week. The specifications of both the smartphones have surfaced through their TENAA certification in China.
Huawei Enjoy 7S
Huawei had released the Enjoy 6S phone in December 2016 and the company has confirmed through a launch invitation that the Enjoy 7S will be unveiled on December 18 through an unveil event in Xi An, China. Well-known leakster Evan Blass has revealed a leaked render of the Huawei Changxiang 7S which is nothing but another name for Enjoy 7S.
The Enjoy 7S will be arriving with a 5.65-inch Full HD+ LCD display that will produce a screen resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. The elongated screen of the phone will be delivering an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will be sporting a metallic chassis with a thickness of 7.5mm.
The Kirin 659 chipset will be powering the Enjoy 7S. Its 32 GB and 64 GB storage models will be respectively featuring 3 GB and 4 GB RAM. It will be packed with a 2,900mAh battery. The backside of the phone features a fingerprint reader.
For photography, it will be featuring dual rear cameras that will include a 13-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. Its front will be fitted with an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. It is expected to be arrive with EMUI 8.0 UI that is based on Android 8.0 Oreo. The highest configuration model of the Enjoy 7S is expected to be available in China with a starting price of 1,599 Yuan (~Rs. 15,575). It is speculated to come in colors like blue, black and gray.
The Huawei Enjoy 7 Plus that was launched at the beginning of this year had arrived as Holly 4 Plus in India and it had released in some markets as Huawei Y7 Prime. Hence, the Enjoy 7S is also expected to debut in other regions in the coming months.
Honor 9 Youth Edition
On 21st December, Honor will be launching a toned-down edition of the Honor 9 that was unveiled in June this year. The unveiling of the Honor 9 Youth Edition will be held at Futian Sports Park, Shenzhen in China next Thursday.
The TENNA listing of the Honor 9 Youth Edition has revealed that it will be also featuring a FHD+ LCD screen of 5.65 inches and it will be powered by Kirin 659 chipset and 2,900mAh battery. It will be also running on EMUI 8.0 flavored Android 8.0 Oreo.
The front and rear sides of the Honor 9 Youth Edition will be fitted with 13-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual cameras. The 32 GB storage + 3 GB RAM and 64 GB storage + 4 GB variants of the smartphone are rumored to be respectively priced at 1,299 Yuan (~Rs. 12,650) and (~Rs. 15,575). It is expected to feature a super-slim metallic chassis of 6mm and it is pegged to come in colors like black, white, blue and gray. Some of the markets are expected to receive the smartphone as Honor 9 Lite.
