Well everyone likes tabbed browsing, there are times when you have to do lots of work and if you do not have access to you laptop then you probably browse from your handheld device and if that device happens to be an Android device manufactured by HTC and running HTC Sense then you probably have the HTC stock browser which can open only about 4 tabs at a time and if you open 1 more then it automatically closes the other. Well this post will show you how to get about 16 tabs.
Note: Your Phone must be rooted to follow this procedure
Requirements :
- Download the Modified Browser.apk from here
Procedure:
- Download Root Explorer from the Android Market
- Put the downloaded modified Browser.apk in the SD card
- Insert the SD card into the device
- Replace the /system/app/Browser.apk by the new modified Browser.apk which you have in the SD card
- All done now reboot the phone and enjoy fully tabbed browsing
