Although HP Mini Note is not a low budget portable, we couldn’t resist publishing a comparison with the Eee PC! The Eee PC has been the best choice for low end users looking for portability only, whereas the Mini-Note 2133 offers much more. Here is the show down vs the two:
HP Mini-Note 2133 wins:
- HP 2133 has a much better keyboard
- HP 2133 has a cleaner design
- HP 2133 has a faster processor (1.6Ghz vs. 900Mhz)
- HP 2133 has double memory (2GB vs. 1GB)
Eee PC 900 wins:
- Asus Eee PC is cheaper ($550 vs. $729-819)
- Asus Eee PC is slimmer and lighter (2133 battery protrudes downward)
- Asus Eee PC 3 USB ports instead of 2 on the Hp 2133, Yes!!!
- Asus Eee PC is easier to dual boot with Ubuntu
