HTC Launches Desire 320 At CES’15

HTC has moved its focus to the Desire series of smartphones for its CES presence this year. A new born to the family, we are talking about the HTC Desire 320 which was announced yesterday (5th Jan). The Desire 320 comes as an inspiration from the Desire 310, which was the latest entry to the Desire series until now. HTC declared that the Desire 320 will be soon available in UK but no certain details regarding the dates are disclosed yet.

With a screen size of 4.5” and TFT capacitive touchscreen, it empowers the user with multi-touch feature. The HTC Desire 320 is packed up with 1.3GHz Quad-core processor which is paired up with 1GB RAM. Although there is another version which comes with 512MB RAM. Along with this, it operates on Android KitKat (v4.4.2).

The Desire 320 is a single SIM supporting device. Sporting a rear camera of 5MP with a LED flash, it lets you shoot 1080p videos. While, its secondary camera is VGA. The device is equipped with 8GB of internal storage but has an external storage capacity of 32GB.

Talking about the connectivity features, the Desire 320 pretty much covers up all the basic requirements like 3G, Bluetooth (v4.0), Wi-Fi, GPS, FM radio and microUSB (v2.0). This complete unit is boosted by a 2100mAh Li-Ion battery, which claims a talktime of 12 hours and standby of 690 hours on 3G which is pretty decent. The Desire 320 comes in colour options like Meridian Gray and White.

The new addition to the device is the impressive HTC BlinkFeed, which sums up the news and other social notifications on the home screen of the device as your timeline for the day.

With an intent of providing high performance, quick response time and serious multitasking power, the Desire 320 has some impressive features when compared with the ones in the same domain.
