HTC Legend leaked pics and specs

HTC Legend is believed to be the successor of the HTC Hero and we have leaked picture (rendered) and rumored specification list. The Hero successor has undergone some essential upgradation while still maintaining the elegance and the ease-of-use of its predecessor.
While b0th the handsets have the same screen size and resolution, HTC Legend will be the first HTC handset to feature an AMOLED touchscreen. Legend packs in a optical sensor instead of the trackball we saw in the Hero and also adds a LED flash to the camera. A faster 600MHz qualcomm processor will power the Legend. Other specs are mostly the same as that of HTC Hero. Below is the specification list of the HTC Legend.
- Quad-band GSM/EDGE, dualband WCDMA/HSPA (900/2100)
- 3.2″ HVGA AMOLED capacitive touchscreen
- Android 2.x
- 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor
- 5 MP camera with auto focus and LED flash
- WiFi
- Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR
- GPS/AGPS, G-sensor, digital compass
- 3.5 mm audio jack
- microSD support
- latest versions of HTC’s People and Footprint
- micro USB
No news on pricing and availability of the phone. The phone is expected to be officially announced during the MWC in Feb 2010 and will take on the Xperia X10 and the Google Nexus One.
