iControlPad did impress us a lot when we first saw it on iPhoneHelp. The gaming pad for iPhone is now under mass production and would be soon available in two versions. For those who do not know, iControlPad is an external gaming pad that supports all iPhone and iPod Touch versions. For those who have jailbroken iPhones, this controller would support games run on emulators. The gaming pad features a D-pad, two analog controllers, X/Y/A/B buttons along with Start/Select controls. The iPhone is connected through the serial port and the controller does not require any modifications to your iPhone.
The developers of iControlPad have stated that the gaming pad is now undergoing mass production. One of the two versions would feature a rechargeable battery and the other would be an economical version without any battery.
The exact pricing and release date details are not available for now. But we would sure let you know when its available for sale. In the meanwhile, checkout the video of iControlPad in action.
