We caught up with Jimmy Wales in Mumbai a couple of days back. While the entire video interview would be up soon, we have a little interesting conversation towards the end of the interview about the Wikireader. In case you are forgetting, the Wikireader is a $100 gadget that can store up to 3 million Wikipedia articles offline and give you offline access. While this is a independent project, Jimmy had some interesting thoughts on the concept. He hoped that a $10 version would really help students / developing world. Here is the video snippet:
