The Apple iPad 2 just went on sale in the United Kingdom and it seems that despite keeping a 2-3 weeks shipping time to begin with, Apple is finding it hard to satisfy the demand for iPad 2 on its online store. For over an hour now, iPad fans are complaining that their online order isn’t going through (even we got an error when trying to order one). While what worked for many was the 1-click order mode, as word spread, even that failed.
The Apple Store now shows the ‘We’ll be back soon’ message to anyone trying to use access order staus or account settings to enable 1-click ordering. If you are trying to order the iPad 2 online, do let us know if you got lucky.
