March 18th, 2009 by Annkur

Apple has provided a sneak-peak into the next iPhone OS i.e. iPhone 3.0. Many features that we have been hoping for since long and relying on 3rd party apps is now integrated.
Key Addons in the iPhone OS 3.0:
- Copy / Paste – Text and Images
- Search Spotlight – PRE like searching
- Landscape mode for Mail, text and notes
- MMS
- Push Notifications
- 3G Tethering
- Shake to change song on iPod
- Bluetooth AD2P and P2P (Currently via iBluetooth on Cydia)
Still Missing: Video Recording & Background Processes!
The new SDK with over 1000 enhancements new API’s and 100 features is available in beta to developers and we can expect the firmware 3.0 for iPhones to be out in a few months. I would suspect this would come with the next hardware upgrade to the iPhone.
