iPhone 3G’s Plastic body too weak?

iPhone help is reporting issues with white iPhone 3G 16GB owners noticing cracks on their devices. These cracks seem to be affecting only White iPhone 3G models and seems to be quite a widespread issue according to discussions at MacRumor forums.
