iPhone 5 Announcement On October 4, Availability in Weeks?

Earlier, iPhone 5 was rumored to be launched in September, afterwards end of September, and now the date has shifted to October. According to AllThingsD sources who have previously claimed of an October launch told them that Apple is all set to unveil the next flagship device, that is, iPhone 5 on October 4. However, people who are close to the situation said that the date could change prior to any notifications. But this is what the company has decided right now.

The report suggests talks are still going on about the availability after announcement. For the second time in the history of Apple, it’s new CEO Tim Cook would unveil the next iPhone. Steve Jobs might remain absent due to health issues and also given the fact that he has resigned as the CEO recently.

Further, AllThingsD sources have informed that the iPhone 5 would be available in weeks after launch. iPhone 5 is expected to be ‘fairly different’ from the current generation iPhone 5, reported New York Times. Several leaked cases suggested tapered edges at the back, similar to iPad 2. Apple’s next flagship device could have an 8 megapixel camera, revamped design, no antennagate😛 & A5 (dual core) processor.

All things that is considered a credible source when it comes to these matters and we can’t help but give some attention to it. Though you can take this rumor as a pinch of salt. Would this be your next smartphone?
