Lava Launches The B8, QWERTY Keypad Laden Business Phone In India

Lava Mobiles has announced the launch of its new “Business” phone, the B8 in India complete with a QWERTY keyboard, push mail, WLAN connectivity and a touch pad for navigation. The handset, targeted at young professionals and businessmen will offer quick access to e-mail and official stuff at a very attractive price.
The push mail technology aboard the B8 supports up to 10 Email accounts from various services including most popular mail services and even corporate ones. Thanks to the Wi-Fi connectivity, access to emails would be faster whilst you are at home and have a wi-fi network set up. It could also be useful in areas where you get wi-fi access.

The B8 boasts of a 2.3 inch display – almost the same size as that on the Nokia E72. It gets a basic 3.2 megapixel camera t the rear complete with an LED flash for low light photography. The device, as expected is also dual SIM and can take in two SIM cards at any given time. It also comes along with expandable memory support of Up to 16 GB, which ensures enough space for multimedia files. With expandable memory support for up to 16 GB, you would be never short of storage space on the Lava B8.

The device could also turn out to be a great phone for all your social networking requirements. It comes with Opera Mini, Nimbuzz and Snaptu reloaded. You can install Java games and applications on this phone as well.

The B8 is priced at Rs. 5299 in India and is now available across the country.
