Lava Mobiles Launch Entry Level Android Phones Lava 3G 356 and Lava 3G 402

Indian low cost phone maker Lava has announced the launch of its new entry level, Android powered handsets the Lava 3G 356 and Lava 3G 402 in India. As evident by the names, both phones boast of 3G support. Both these phones are claimed to be powered by “fast dual core processors” run Android Android 4.2 (jelly bean). The 3G 356 boasts of a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touch screen, a 1.3MP camera and a 1500 mAH battery. There is 512 MB of internal memory and just 256 MB of RAM which is just what is expected of an Android phone at this price point. The battery claims to offer up to 5 hours of talk time and 200 hours of stand-by time.

LAVA 3G 402

Moving on to the Lava 3G 402, this is a slightly higher end handset with a 4 inch capacitive WVGA display. Like its cheaper cousin, this one too runs Android 4.2 and gets a 1.2 GHz dual core processor. Like on the 3G 356, this one too gets a 1500mAh battery. This one however gets a better camera at the back (3 megapixel) and a 1.2 megapixel front camera.

LAVA 3G 402 Colors

These phones have been priced at Rs. 4499 and Rs. 5499 respectively. The Lava 3G 356 comes in white, black & grey while the 3G 402 comes in – white, grey and red. Both the phones come bundled with a screen guard and silicon soft pouch.The handsets are available for sale across all national retail stores, multi-brand outlets across India and leading online stores.
