LG Cookie KP500 – The latest iPhone Killer?

The iPhone effect is still here. After its Prada series LG now has the latest full touchscreen device “Cookie” aka KP500 on the block. The Cookie commercial currently onAir tries to sell it much on the lines of the iPhone, displaying its touch capabilities and advanced gaming. Incidentally Apple is pitching the iPod touch and the iPhone as a gaming device; something that competes with the Sony PSP.
Though it would be too early to give any views on the Cookie here are the specs and a short video:
- Quad band GSM connectivity
- 3? touchscreen display
- 3 megapixel camera
- Black, Vandyke brown, Anodizing silver, and Elegant gold color schemes
- Built-in motion sensor . Accelerometer
- Preloaded games that utlize the Motion Sensor
- On screen QWERTY keyboard
- Stylus

Apple is a trendsetter in true sense….its iphone has become a standard in the arena of high end multimedia cell phones….the list of iphone lookalikes is quite long….from samsung’s Omnia….LG’s latest Cookie…HTC’s Touch…and even NOKIA (a word synonymous to cell phone) has come up with its 5800 aka Tube ……Have we missed anybody ?
Well…. i liked the ad…..but this iphone lookalike’s interface looks quite lame to me….
Yeah, the Ad is creative but the product isnt. Sadly no one has been able to match the Mighty iPhone even with better features.
Long time ago I said to a friend “Just features dont make a good cellphone” and it seems to be holding true here …
