LG unveils its slimmest smartphone ever : LG MINI (GD880)

LG today unveiled its super-slim touchscreen phone which is apparently the slimmest from the South Korean cellphone maker. Although the dimensions have not been released officially, the pictures sure give it out. Dubbed the ‘LG Mini’, the phone manages to pack a 3.2″ touchscreen and 5MP camera despite being that sleek.

The phone supports 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and the connectivity options include WiFi, A-GPS and Bluetooth. It would be powered by LG’s own OS along with the S-class UI on top. The social netwoking desktop widgets involve options to connect to twitter and facebook. The pics also suggest a secondary front camera and microSD card support.

The complete specifications and pricing details are expected to be released in Barcelona during the Mobile World Congress 2010. LG Mini would be released in March 2010 in Europe before making its way to rest of the world.
