Panasonic’s 152″ ‘ultra-large’ plasma display was a major crowd puller at the CES 2010. Along with the whooping 4K x 2K display resolution, it also boasts of Full HD 3D viewing.
Panasonic have used the new frame-at-a-time image switching for reduced crosstalk reduction and less double-image blurring. The display uses quadruple luminous efficiency technology which “contributes to delivering an overwhelming immersing experience to viewers”, according to Panasonic. With proper glasses the display is good to bring all the 3D entertainment right into your living room. Panasonic also says that, apart from home entertainment, the display can also be used in business, medical, education and commercial applications.
Panasonic have not declared an official name, price or availability information for the display but the age of 3D TV / computing begins in 2010!
