Micromax Canvas Fire 4 Launched In India At INR 6,999

Micromax has now become one of the favorites in the Indian markets. And it too responds by constantly upgrading its phones and providing the users with a myriad of choices, catering to all the needs and price ranges. Very recently it announced the pricing for Canvas Selfie which is targeted for the shutterbugs and selfie lovers. And now, apart from all the MWC 2015 buzz, it has launched another device in India – the Micromax Canvas Fire 4.

This device is priced at INR 6,999, with no doubt to lure the mid and lower range segment in market. It is available on e-commerce websites and physical retail stores by Monday (9th of March). The device has not been listed on company website yet.

Canvas Fire 4 holds a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480*854 pixels) display unit. The display unit is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It sports a quad-core processor running at 1.3GHz. SoC build has not been specified yet. The processor is coupled with 1GB RAM. Memory capacity for the phone isn’t specified yet but Micromax claimed that the memory capacity can support expansion up to 32GB.

It is equipped with a 8MP rear camera and the front facing camera reads out to be of 2MP. There is no LED flash support for either of the snappers. It is also imparted with dual front-firing speakers and Cirrus Logic Wolfsan Stereo chipset for better audio output. There are some preloaded applications like Snapdeal, Saavn, Quickr, etc. installed. Battery unit reads to be a 2000mAh type. Amongst other prominent features for the device is that it works on Lollipop 5.0 OS.

Overall Canvas Fire 4 looks good considering the price tag it carries. More on this can be commented only after knowing how well it is received in the market and user reviews.
