Microsoft Launches Lumia 435: The Cheapest Lumia Phone

After the recent launch of Lumia 535, Microsoft has released Lumia 435 for Indian markets at a very attractive price of Rs.5999. Being a comparatively newer phone, we expect it to get an upgrade to Windows 10 when it’s released. For now, the budget smartphone comes preloaded with the latest Windows 8.1 (Denim) release. The phone will be available in a variety of colour options of black, white, orange and green as has been the case with Lumia devices. The handset sports a WVGA display of 4 inches which means that the pixel density is just 233 ppi. It has a 2 MP primary camera with a VGA front camera. Lumia 435 will come with dual sim capabilities which will be an advantage in Indian markets. The phone is powered by a dual core Qualcomm MSM8210 Snapdragon 200 processor which is supported by an Adreno 02 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

Microsoft has not made any compromises in the battery department by equipping the phone with a replaceable 1560mAh battery which can give upto 21 days of standby time.The Microsoft Lumia 435 has 8GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 128GB via an external memory card. It also comes with free 30GB of cloud storage on Microsoft OneDrive. The Microsoft Lumia 435 can be purchased through the company’s online store.

The Lumia 435 will try to fit in the boots of the hugely popular Lumia 525 and Lumia 520. Microsoft is also planning a release of flagship Windows phone towards the end of the year as confirmed by the company in the Windows 10 launch event.
