Raxit and team have been working hard to keep up with auto and taxi fares for cities across India and release apps for the same. The most popular for them is by far the Mumbai app for checking BEST routes & auto fares. After a long time with features phones, M4mum is making its way to Android.
Mobile 4 Mumbai’s Android app gives you auto fares for Mumbai and it also covers the recent fare hikes including the most recent one on 17th October. We got an early look of the M4mum app and here is a quick review of the same.
- Simple, no frills interface, perfect for checking rickshaw fare on the spot
- Provides amount for both day and night charges
- Fare input interface is a little complex to understand. It could be separated into 2 boxes as you see on a rickshaw meter. However the same is smart enough to give all possible fares for a given input, thus reducing the user effort
- Share button allows you to share the app with others. It uses the default sharing options from your Android settings
