Mobile technology is what Google plans revolutionalise to next. Adding to the list of applications / innovations they have initiated for the mobile platform, the latest as we see is a tracking feature labelled “My Location”.
The best part is this technology is not dependent on GPS and thus instantly available to the masses. All the user has to do is press the 0 (Zero) key on the new software and the location of the sender shall show up on Google Maps.
My Location will provide the user’s a semi-accurate address for their current location, this can be a very handy function as-well. The feature is currently in a test mode and is reportedly not yet working for the iPhone.
