Mobile Phones lead gadgets search on the Internet

Mobile phones contributes a heavy 29.4% to all consumer electronic related search on the internet. Certainly backing our claim that we are in a smartphone boom 
. Mobiles are followed by Video games and Computers (with both taking just below 10% search share).
Amongst the top serached brands in consumer electronics Apple leads the way followed by Nokia, Samsung, Dell and Sony. The Apple iPhone also leads the mobile phones pack with 1 in 12 searches for a mobile phone being for the Apple iPhone!
A smartphone brings business / communications, gaming, media, internet all in one device. With the growing demand and populartity of gadgets (particularly smartphones); we can expect these numbers to increase.
Also the most serached for netbook was the Asus eee followed by the Acer aspire one. More on Hitwise
