Motorola Quench Launched In India For Rs. 12,500

Remember the Motorola Quench XT3? No? Well it was a mid range Android based handset that was first showcased at the Mobile World Congress back in February. Since, then though it had faded into obscurity – only to make a comeback of sorts almost 8 months later.

That’s right. The Quench has been listed as on sale in India and is available on Flipkart.com last time we checked. This mid range phone boasts of a 3.2 inch capacitive display that supports a resolution of 320X480. It comes with a 3 mega pixel camera with LED flash and a 1270 mAH battery.

There is a 3.5mm jack to plug in your own earphones as well. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7201A 528 MHz Processor with 512MB ROM and 256MB of RAM. The sad bit about this phone is that it still runs Android 1.6  (remember the SE X8?).

The phone is priced at around 12,500 in India – which seems to be a decent price for a device of its calibre.

So, rushing to get one?
