Nexus One Receives Full Honeycomb SDK Port

Developers at XDA had started working on the Honeycomb port to various devices as soon as Google had launched the preview of the Honeycomb SDK, and just recently the complete Honeycomb Android 3.0 SDK was released by Google and in result the Developers have managed to bring out a full working Honeycomb port to the Nexus One.

Just about 3 days back we had seen devs working on the port of Android 3.0 on devices like HTC Evo 4G, Desire and Desire HD and the Devs have been working pretty hard to port the official complete SDK. Nexus One is the first to receive this complete SDK Port. XDA Member  Bypass23 who was the author of the Nexus One port has released an Aplha 2 flashable ROM for all the Nexus One users, the developer also mentioned that the port was not very simple and as earlier ports, 95% of all the libs and apps were replaced and even the ramdisk was different.

We had tried the Alpha One Honeycomb Port on the Nexus One which was very laggy and many of the functions did not work including the network. We will be flashing this new Alpha 2 Rom very soon and will keep you updated about the development and maybe do a video of the Honeycomb running on the Nexus One so stay tuned.

You can follow the development if this Rom over here
