Nokia customises N-Gage for India

Nokia has announced a customised N-Gage platform for Indian customers. Though the service was available for Indian customers earlier but the service was not Indianised. The N-Gage users will now be able to play in Indian Currency. Initially, 30 games will be available through this platform. These games have been developed by EA Mobile, Gameloft, Glu Mobile, India Games and Nokia Games Publishing.
The users can pay through Oxigen pre-paid cards or Oxicash. The Oxigen vouchers will be available in Nokia Priority Dealers, initially over 9 cities in India.
The games cost between Rs. 49 – 299 and the users will be able to try the games before they buy it. N-gage is available now in N81, N81 8GB, N82, N79, N85, N95, N95 8GB, Nokia 5320 XpressMusic and 6210 Navigator. More handsets that have N-Gage support can be expected in ‘09.
