Nokia introduces ‘Mural’ for AT&T
September 3rd, 2009 by Kunal

Though not as appealing as the other Nokia handsets, such as the X6 and X3 models, announced yesterday morning at the Nokia World Conference, a new entry-level S40 cellphone model was introduced by Nokia. Dubbed Mural, the handset resembles the Motorola flip-phones or the Motorola W series. The Mural will be offered to AT&T subscribers.
Here is a quick look at the specs:
- 3G with HSDPA compatibility
- 2.2″ QVGA display
- 2 MP camera
- MicroSD support
- Integrated e-mail and IM
- Bluetooth
The handset also supports AT&T Navigation, AT&T Mobile Music and AT&T Video Share. ‘Mural’ comes with interchangeable covers – in blue, red, green, orange, purple, and pink – and customizable lighting effects. The color effects, visible when one receives a message or call, seems to ensure that this one isn’t going to be a guy’s phone. For girls, matching the color with their accessories might be a cool option.
The Nokia Mural will be available for US$49.99 with a two-year contract from AT&T.
