Nokia working on a tablet isn’t a new rumor. They have already tried their hands on a netbook (god knows why) and ever since then we are suspecting a table from them. Before MeeGo started to buzz, it was speculated to be a Windows 7 tablet and later on a MeeGo tablet in testing was spoken of. The Z500 showed up on Ovi Store when entered in the URL in place of an existing known model no. Enough to start the buzz again and we have the world speaking / speculating about the same now.
It seems that Eldar Murtazin of Mobile Review who has accomplished enough sources in Nokia has managed to get an insider to comment on the MeeGo tablet, (code named / model Z500) and the news isn’t very encouraging.
As his tweet reads “Rumour mill. As far as I know Nokia Z500 (Nokia Meego tablet) is under question. Nokia isn’t happy with price/features.”
Now with the new CEO coming in, perhaps he does what Steve Jobs does to Apple and shoots down all crappy R&D projects and focus on a winner?
