This VM allows to run the android apps without any modifications, the app-store just has to repackage the APK files to their own extensions.

Alien Dalvik will be demoed at MWC on a Nokia N900 and we can expect Alien Dalvik to be released on the Meego platform this year mid. This is a great news for all other platforms which will automatically increase the number of quality applications on that platform.
