Physical QWERTY on budget phones are now becoming common. We have already seen Nokia and Samsung introducing some full QWERTY budget phones. Alcatel following the similar lineup has launched a slider QWERTY touchscreen budget phone dubbed One Touch XTRA.

The $49.99 price tag can easily justify no WiFi or 3G connectivity on this device. It uses EDGE for access to internet data. The phone would be available exclusively on Orange UK.
