Paid Apps coming to Android Market
February 11th, 2009 by Annkur

So far Google only allowed developers to publish free apps for Android. However this week the much awaited $$ gates are set to open for the eager developers who wish to publish paid apps @ Android Market. And the icing on the cake is that Google allows developers to take all the profits from their app sales unlike Apple who takes 30% of the Appstore revenues that their developers generate.
The Android marketplace is also open. Apps do not have to be approved by either the carrier or Google which developed the Android mobile operating system. That is in contrast to Apple’s walled garden approach that requires all apps to be scrutinized by the company.
