RIM Demos HTML5 and Flash Gaming On BlackBerry PlayBook

RIM’s much awaited Apple iPad killer, the PlayBook is set to be launched in the next few months. RIM has been continuously churning out videos of the PlayBook in action to give us all a hint of what to expect from the tablet and to say that the results do look promising would not be an understatement. In the latest video RIM has released, they have shown the Flash and HTML5 compatibility of the browser. The stress during the entire course of the Video was to imply that there’s a competing tablet out there (the iPad!) that cannot do what is being shown here.

The demo video also shows how well the tablets handles HTML 5 based video playback. Flash games on Facebook along with the Facebook chat are shown to be working “as it should” on the PlayBook.

Now, the only thing left to do for RIM is to launch this one on time.
