Rumor: Nexus 4G Launching This November With Android 4.0?

The rumors of the next Nexus device from Google are really heating up as Q4 keeps on closing in. Just last month we had the rumor that HTC will be coming out with the next Nexus without any buttons there was also an image of the handset but that news turned out to be a fake. This time the rumor is from BGR,though it doesn’t mention the manufacturer of the device.

The next Nexus, labelled as the Nexus 4G (we don’t think so) will be having a 1.2 or a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and mostly the device will be powered by OMAP 4460 from TI or Qualcomm’s  ultra low power 28 nm Krait based Snapdragon. The specs include 720p HD display and  without any hardware buttons (tumor continues). If the display really is 720p then there are high chances that this device will be from LG’s side as we had reported a leaked XML page showing the details of the display.

It also has 1 GB of RAM, 1MP front camera and a 5 MP back camera. The rear camera will have an advanced 5 MP sensor delivering class-leading image quality even in low light places. The device is rumored to be powered by Ice Cream Sandwich and expected to be launched by the end of November. I will write it off as just another rumor lest any more info and images on the device are leaked.

Though still a rumor, this can be a flagship Ice Cream Sandwich device just like Motorola Xoom was for Android 3.0 and not the next Nexus. IMO, the next Nexus should be from HTC because of the great build quality (Nexus One build quality was really amazing) sporting a Krait-based processor with Adreno 320 GPU, 720P HD 4.3” display, 1 GB RAM and no hardware buttons.

Although we expect the next Nexus to sport the above features; we definitely wont mind them being even better…
