Samsung Has A Very Good Reason To Shoot Down Galaxy S3 Rumors

Samsung has risen to be the strongest smartphone maker globally, and their dominance in the Android space is well known. From chip to display, they make it all for their devices and the result is some top selling smartphones like the Galaxy SII. The SGS2 has sold in respectable numbers, and the demand is still high. Given that after all the hype, and rumors, Samsung has not revealed the successor to the SGS2 yet … the rumors continue to flow with estimated launch dates.

So while, we recently heard that the Samsung Galaxy SIII would launch in April; Samsung has moved quickly to shoot down the rumors. Even though, Samsung may deny the launch or announcement happening in April, it is hard for us to believe that they are not cooking up a new super phone. We might well see the S3 show up in April, way before Apple comes out with the 6th gen iPhone. Samsung will not admit it. They have learnt their lessons observing the consumer behavior. After all even the iPad 2 fails to the Blackberry Playbook in sales once the iPad 3 launch date is revealed.

Samsung would want to sell as many Galaxy S2 as they can before letting the word out on the Galaxy S3 and breaking the momentum of sales for the current champion. Having said that, let us also start speculating the launch of a 7? Galaxy Note.
