Samsung i8510 (INNOV8) 8MP slider

Thank god this one is not another iPhone competing Touch device. Afterall someone decided to leave alone Apple and go after Nokia. The Samsung INNOV8 aka i8510 is said to be a Nokia N96 killer. Powered with a 8MP camera, slideout Keypad, 2.8″ Screen, GPS, 16gig internal memory, WiFi, Powered by Symbian S60 and more; WOW! This one surely gives Nokia a run for its money.

I would really be interested in trying out the camera, it features some interesting specs like the digital image stabilization. For music lovers there is a 3.5mm headphone jack, and apart from the internal 16GB memory there is support for MicroSD cards aswell.

The device might be a bit heavy at just below 150gms but the dimensions are impressive. Acceptable combination we would say. The pricing is steep at Rs 40000 (in India, UK around £559.99); thats the same as the Sony Xperia X1. So make your choice – X1 or INNOV8!

Btw: I had the fist opportunity to get my hands on the Xperia yesterday, just a few seconds – But its really sleek. More laterz

That looks really good, and the N96 may have some stiff competition.
