The only feature of notebooks and netbooks that keeps them from being truly portable is the battery life of these devices. But there are many new laptops that are bringing a change. One such device is Samsung’s latest netbook, N230.
Samsung N230 features a 6-cell battery which can last as long as 14 hours on a single charge. The netbook also has an option of 3-cell battery which would last for around 7 hours. Unfortunately, the long lasting battery is the only good feature of this device. It has a 10.1″ matte display with 1024 x 600 screen resolution. The netbook comes with two processor options – Atom N450 and N470, with an integrated GMA 3150 graphics.
Other features include 1GB of RAM and 250GB hard HDD. Connectivity options include 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and optional 3G. You also get a 0.3MP webcam and a Windows 7 starter edition.
Samsung N230 is now available at a price tag of $400.
