Well today seems to be a day of leaks and rumors. We have already written about quite a few, but this one seems to be the biggest of them all. Mobilismo.ro a Roman tech reporting website today leaked a video which supposedly showing off Samsung’s much awaited Google phone the Nexus Prime successor to the Samsung Nexus and even more eagerly anticipated Ice Cream Sandwich.
The Galaxy Nexus has been in the news for quite a while now with Samsung promoting a teaser video of the device to be launched soon at the ‘Unpacked Show’ at CTIA on October 11th.
Well, looking at the video one can ascertain that the device certainly has a huge screen with a bright display which could be pretty much the 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 rumored to be on the Samsung Nexus Prime. Though the phone resembles the Nexus it has less rounded edges and the front facing camera is placed slightly more towards the right hand side with the proximity sensor being located between the earpiece and the camera.
It also has a micro-USB port at the bottom center, quite similar to its predecessor. And it appears a 1750mAh battery and a 5MP camera to go with that as well.
Now coming to the Ice Cream Sandwich seen on the device, one can immediately notice the onscreen buttons, promised replacements of the physical buttons. The UI has a little thin line to indicate which of the homescreen out of the five you are currently on and the widget placement looks pretty similar to the one on Honeycomb.
Well all of it makes us feel that this might be the original Nexus Prime though we cant be certain until the device is officially launched. Or can we?
